How are you all promoting your forum these days?

What is working for YOU? What is not working for YOU?

Do you find it harder to promote a forum nowadays versus years before if you’ve been in the forum game for a while?

🟦 Spark Admins - Discuss managing your own Forum Spark community.

🟩 Trail Running Forum - Discuss trail running, gear, and racing.

I’ve always mainly depended on signature advertising on similar communities. Word of mouth is always nice; I received about 50+ new members on my forums Discord channel when someone was shutting down theirs and referred them to mine. I do submit my forum to occasional directories, advertisement forums, etc.

I think signature links on similar forums is also a good way to promote.

You just have to make sure you’re active enough and helpful enough where other members notice your link and want to be closer to you.
