Do you try to make money with your forum?

If yes, what are you doing to make money and are you actively earning from it?

Not at all, I never even thought about the idea of doing so.

The only way I’ve tried to make money from my forum is by having a “paid skin requests” forum, which wasn’t successful and later on deleted. That’s no surprise for being on a forum software that’s freely available, but I have gotten paid for some of my coding work before.

In the past, I’ve sold advertising, used AdSense, and did premium membership.

Nowadays, I kind of let forums stay free, since the interest in them isn’t as big as it used to be.

I focus on my blogs for online revenue.
